The Perquimans County Board of Commissioners approved a package of personnel matters June 15. On a motion by Commissioner Timothy J. Corprew, seconded by James W. Ward and approved unanimously, the board authorized hiring Madilyn Chaulk as part-time Tourism Development Authority (TDA) Director at an annualized $25,000 and approved reclassifications for Jenn Holden, Kelli Swinson and Matthew James to Certified Telecommunicator I at $18.63 per hour.
The personnel listing also recorded the resignation of Destiny Butler from the Department of Social Services (Income Maintenance Caseworker II), effective June 2, 2026. The board approved the personnel slate and related effective dates and grades as presented in the personnel table.
