Pigeon council approves park electrical enclosures and Event Center siding projects
Summary
Trustees approved enclosing electrical panels at the Lions Pavilion and near the new playscape (not to exceed $2,000) and authorized siding on the north side of the Event Center (not to exceed $6,500).
Trustee Shelly Gunden moved (second Matt Zimmerman) to enclose electrical panels by the Lions Pavilion and east of the new playscape at a cost not to exceed $2,000; Trustee Michael Wehner later moved (second Kent Shetler) to side the north side of the Event Center at a cost not to exceed $6,500.00. Both motions passed on unanimous voice votes.
Council reviewed photos of the Event Center and discussed the sanitary sewer separate from the siding decision; minutes link the siding authorization to ongoing building-maintenance needs. The minutes record cost caps for both projects but do not list contractors or start dates.
