Pigeon council approves $65,907 CIPP liner to repair downtown sanitary sewer main

Main Street at a cost of $65,907.00. Trustee Marc Hill moved to approve the contract and Trustee Kent Tibbits seconded; the motion carried on a unanimous vote (All Ayes).
Council reviewed photos and a repair estimate from Michigan Pipe Inspection before taking the vote. DPW Superintendent Thomas Buschlen and Village Superintendent/Clerk Steven Corrion presented the condition report and the recommended liner option; no alternate contractors or lower-cost options were recorded in the minutes. The project was presented as a targeted repair to address deterioration along the run from Berne to N. Main.
