Business Services reported that final retro checks for the negotiated 3% one-time bonus were issued to staff after year-end payroll concluded. Educational Services described a "Leader in Me" day for principals, pilot plans for expanded learning options and said the state had approved the district's LCAP and prior-year budget. Staff also said the state has approved electronic signatures for teachers' attendance reporting and that they are working through implementation with Technology and Information Services as attendance signatures remain a legal requirement.
Human Resources reported launching mandated staff trainings (99% complete at the time of the meeting) and an enrollment count of 9,115 students, exceeding the projection of 9,053. Communications reported it received roughly 80 applications for a digital communications internship and accepted seven interns. Board members thanked staff for the updates.
