The Agricultural District authorized putting a 29-year-old Zetor tractor up for auction as-is with a minimum bid based on comparable tractors' site value. Member Bill Panagopoulos moved the auction motion and Member Pete Mangum seconded; Member Martin Troutt abstained from the vote because he was the member posting the item, and the motion carried.
Meeting notes indicate the tractor needs general maintenance including tires, batteries and hydraulic line work and that some brakes are non-operable. Member Troutt had previously obtained quotes for needed repairs but the board chose to dispose of the asset by auction rather than undertake full restoration.
