Henry County appoints and swears in two new board members

The Henry County Board approved appointments to fill two vacancies on Feb. 19, naming Chad Winter and Mike Rabas to the county board after the resignations of Brian Corkill and Jeanna Moore. Clerk Barb Link administered the oath to both appointees following the board vote.
Mike Rabas was assigned to the Public Safety and Administration committees; Chad Winter was assigned to Planning & Development and Health & Social Services. The appointments were seconded by Member Crystal Strode and carried via voice vote as recorded in the minutes.
