Staff provided an overview of the subrecipient spending tracker and near-term deadlines. Claire Collins said the total remaining funds to be spent stood at $3,450,740.06 and that 57% of the city’s ARPA funding has been expended; she added about $192,000 remained to be obligated by Dec. 31, 2024.
Collins said staff would host a webinar with subrecipients on Sept. 3 to review obligations and collect documentation; she also said the city will publish a dashboard in early October summarizing obligations and remaining funds so the city can plan re-obligation of unobligated dollars. Collins reported drawdown request number 3 for Cross Street was pending additional documentation and noted the South Fire District would be returning $5,731.62 to the city after spending $77,293.22 of its $83,024.84 award.
