The Task Force approved a budget revision for the Odd Fellows Youth Playhouse Theater that reallocates existing ARPA award dollars to hire an interim operational manager during the managing director’s medical leave. Claire Collins said the organization’s original ARPA award was $180,000, with $152,828 remaining to spend and an agreement end date of Dec. 31, 2026.
Collins described the requested change: add $32,500 for the additional position, increase salaries from $141,000 to $161,500 and decrease fringe benefits from $33,800 to $13,300; conference travel, audit/legal and relocation line items would remain unchanged. Collins said the first-year hire did not work out, leaving lower salary spending in 2023, and the revision aligns the budget to anticipated staffing needs over 2024–25. The task force voted and approved the revision.
The change preserves the original total award amount but shifts line items to ensure the theater can operate while its managing director receives care. Staff said they will monitor spending and report obligations as part of the subrecipient tracker.
