Dorchester County staff asked the Board of Zoning Appeals to defer consideration of a proposed attached addition at 0/105 Osage Way for one month to allow the applicant and contractor to confirm the project meets building-code and structural requirements. The administrator said he was concerned the submitted plans, filed by the applicant's builder, may not meet building-code standards and that a short deferral would avoid repeated filing fees.
The board moved and seconded a motion to defer the item to next month's meeting to give the applicant time to obtain contractor confirmations and planning approvals. Committee member Miss Harper moved the deferral and it was seconded and passed by voice vote.
