Bond County approves public-safety and animal-control reports, clarifies stop-loss insurance payment and holds executive session

At the Jan. 20 meeting the Bond County Board approved the Sheriff's Report and the Coroner's Report for December 2025 and accepted Animal Control's 2025 Annual Report; each approval passed on recorded roll call votes of 5 ayes, 0 nays.
During Old Business, Committee member Jeff Rehkemper asked whether any past bills had arisen from the previous insurance plan. Treasurer Colleen Camp replied that stop-loss insurance had been paid and that a monthly payment is made to provide coverage. Later the Board entered executive session at 7:07 p.m., returned at 7:43 p.m., and adjourned at 7:44 p.m.
