District approves $1,000 support for White River cleanup; volunteers to be solicited

"I factor into my budget to pay for things like, bottles of water, trash bags, gloves for safety, portable toilets and sink washes for the volunteers," the staff member said, adding Republic Services has agreed to donate roll-offs again this year.
The staff member said the cleanup will be on Sept. 20 and that SURF Village has increased its involvement. The board moved, seconded and voted in favor of the $1,000 contribution.
