The board approved Hamilton County's annual Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) action plan for program year 2026 during the July 27 meeting.
Community Development staff described the allocation breakdown: "$400,000" for public infrastructure to four municipalities; "Affordable housing activities is $543,372.80"; and administration and fair housing at "$235,873.20." Staff said no changes were made to the draft presented earlier. Commissioners moved, seconded and approved the action plan on voice vote.
Staff also initiated a historic review consultation required by the environmental review process for a home repair project at 13787 Adios Pass in Carmel and moved to approve that consultation. Commissioners approved that step as part of the environmental review process.
