Emergency manager promotes Skywarn training; EOP and MOU on coming agendas

Emergency Management Coordinator Jesse Ludikhuize credited coordinated efforts among the Sheriff's Department, WYDOT, EMS, fire departments and MDU during the recent storm and urged continued collaboration. Ludikhuize said the county will discuss its Emergency Operations Plan and a Memorandum of Understanding with Bighorn County in future agenda items.
Ludikhuize also promoted a free Skywarn storm spotter training on April 30 at the college, calling it a valuable opportunity for first responders, farmers and ranchers to better understand weather systems and improve warning accuracy through community spotters.
