Planner says easement vacation recommended for approval; setback variance recommended for denial

County Planner Mark Reid told the board the planning commission reviewed two land-use items March 31 and made recommendations for the Board's April 21 agenda: approval of an easement vacation requested by Lion Dog Investments LLC for utility purposes, and denial of a requested setback variance from a property owner identified as Greehan on Wagon Box Road.
Reid also said the joint powers authority (JPA) update group will meet April 23 at City Hall to review and rank consultant proposals submitted to the city. The board did not take final action on either land-use matter at the staff meeting; both will appear on the April 21 agenda for formal consideration.
