Friendsville reallocates unused HUD sewer grant to connect two homes and plans tool shed with contingency funds

During staff reports at the June 4 meeting, City Administrator Kim Rogers said that on the HUD sewer grant "there was almost $12,000 that was not used for the line, which was then used to hook up two more homes to the sewer." Mayor Steven Cardwell said about $10,000 of contingency money in the water budget would be used to add a tool shed to the storage building at the Operations Center.
The board reviewed the financial report and had no questions. There were no public comments recorded during the meeting. Vice Mayor Jonathan Newberry moved to adjourn; Commissioner Margaret Maze seconded and the meeting adjourned at 7:02 p.m.
