County Coordinator presented vouchers and claims which the board approved by roll-call vote following a motion by Mark Gail and second by Kayla Schmidt. The minutes list vendors and amounts, including a payment to COMPUTERSHARE TRUST COMPANY N.A. for $76,937.50 and a total of 43 claims under $2,000 that together amount to $18,790.37 under M.S. §375.12.
Auditor/Treasurer Kit Johnson told the commission that if Social Services payroll is processed before year-end, Traverse County can receive 35% state/federal reimbursement on its cost report; delaying payroll processing into 2026 would forfeit that reimbursement. Western Prairie noted the same timing sensitivity. Commissioners requested additional information from Stacy Hennen at the next Social Services Board meeting to clarify the fiscal impact and timing required to capture the reimbursement.
The meeting minutes do not record a separate vote specifically tied to payroll timing; the clerk noted the claims approval and recorded the vendors and amounts in the minutes.
