The Board of Lincoln County Commissioners authorized the chairman to sign a small public works contract, notice to proceed and bid award with Diamondback Electric for the Fairgrounds Electrical Project at the May 18 meeting. Fair Manager Dawn Canfield told the board the Department of Agriculture grant will fund major project elements, including new services brought in specifically for an RV park and for food truck vendor parking by the pavilion.
The board approved the contract and notice to proceed by unanimous vote. The minutes record the county will execute a small public works contract and that new electrical services will be installed for the RV park and the food-truck area; the contract award was made to Diamondback Electric.
