Tim Laughlin outlined the 1049R submission plan to the Connecticut Department of Administrative Services (DAS). He said there are three packages — renovation/construction, FF&E, and technology — and the plan is to submit the 1049R after prebid conformance review (PCR) approval for all three packages.
Laughlin told the committee the 1049R will reflect the voter-authorized budget not to exceed $49,965,000 for the Sherman School and Central Administration projects and that the submission will request an additional 10% reimbursement on top of the statutory 30%, per educational specifications and coordination with three area high schools. The committee did not take a new vote on the 1049R at this meeting; members discussed timing and next steps.
