Subcommittee rolls several bills and hears TDOT announcement

At the start of the Feb. 17 meeting, the chair announced a TDOT legislative breakfast scheduled for the next morning at 7:15 a.m. in the Cordell Hull Building and said TDOT leadership from all four regions would attend and a rural service patrol truck would be unveiled outside the building.
Later in the session, multiple representatives asked to roll several bills (HB 1712, HB 1713, HB 1714, HB 1739 and HB 1817) to the next available calendar so that mandatory language or other changes could be added. The chair accepted those requests without objection.
