Butler County approves $186,182 bid for tandem chassis to replace wrecked dump truck

Truck Center Companies submitted the low bid at $186,182, which the board approved 5-0.
Mader said transferring the bed instead of buying a full unit could save roughly $50,000. The expense will be charged to Capital Projects line item 0044-041-6604-000. The board also inquired about the employee involved in the accident; Mader reported the employee had a headache over the weekend and had returned to work.
