Dewey board accepts resignations, approves hires and elects officers

The minutes name four elementary teachers hired on temporary certified contracts — Madison Dingman, Stacy Ryan, Sheila Boucher and Kerin Lumm — and a special education paraprofessional, Stephanie Hicks, among the approved support hires. The board also elected officers: Emily Case as School Board President, Amanda Nichols as Vice‑President and Amanda Guilfoyle as Clerk; the officer elections were moved by Amy LaSpisa, seconded by David Cleveland, and approved unanimously.
