Council confirms multiple hires, ends probation and funds community garden repair

Council also removed Joe Miller from his 90-day probation and moved him to Utilities Clerk Step 3 at $24.00 per hour.
In community funding matters, the council agreed to cover a $517.40 repair bill for the community garden water pipe; the mayor amended the motion so the funds come from the Park & Rec board. The amendment passed with one nay vote from Council member Jim Kreemer. The council also approved installing a free library box at Harmony Park.
