The Planning Commission recommended approval after a public hearing, and the council’s conditions require regulated disposal of biohazardous medical waste per local, state and federal standards and permit review for any additional signage or fencing.
Council members noted a one-year review will assess whether additional screening is needed along the residential properties to the north; staff will return the item to Planning Commission if complaints arise during the first year. The council voted unanimously to approve the resolution.
