The Finance Committee took several formal procedural actions on Aug. 12, approving minutes, referring a capital proposal and adjourning with plans for a September meeting.
Supervisor Martha Olson moved and Supervisor Will Beitlich seconded approval of the July 23 minutes; "On a voice vote, all voting in favor, the motion carried." Supervisor Will Beitlich later moved, and Supervisor John Pedretti seconded, to return the emergency management storage facility proposal to the General Government Committee for redesign and cost estimates; that motion carried with all in favor. Supervisor Beitlich moved to adjourn, Supervisor Pedretti seconded, and the committee adjourned. The next Finance Committee meeting is scheduled for Sept. 17 at 9:30 a.m. in the Vernon County Board Room.
These procedural actions advance committee workflows while ensuring staff return with revised proposals and supporting materials before any budget decisions are made.
