Commission asks staff to study streamlining the recital of consent findings

Interim director Jeff Bond responded that he would bring observations from his experience in other communities and offer recommendations at a future meeting, and he noted the permanent director would ultimately make formal recommendations. Bond said he was passing through as interim director but would share possible changes, including alternatives to reciting findings and conditions verbatim.
Commissioners welcomed a review of the process with an eye toward streamlining and making the meeting experience less rote for both commissioners and members of the public.
