Piedmont parks staff report: heritage plaques, tot‑lot bid and tree removals

Parks operations chief Nick reported ongoing irrigation tuning, vandalism repair at Linda Park, removal of a leaning eucalyptus that required PG&E to make power lines safe, and a wind event that felled a double‑trunk linden tree (road cleared by staff within about two hours). "We only had 2 trees fall," Nick said, and added staff will evaluate replanting and ongoing trimming priorities.
