The Finance Committee received the Treasurer’s report Aug. 12 in Treasurer Karen DeLap’s absence and reviewed budget-versus-actual figures.
Administrative Coordinator Cassandra Hanan presented the report and told the committee they had questions about two upcoming certificates of deposit and requested a comparison report on delinquent taxes. On budget performance, Hanan summarized, "In summary, there’s nothing concerning, and the expenditures are where they should be." She also noted that IT department expenses appear higher because printing costs have not yet been allocated to individual departments.
Committee members placed the bills on file after review and asked staff to provide the requested delinquent tax comparison and CD details at a future meeting.
