At the Dec. 17 meeting Administrative Coordinator Cassie Hanan updated the committee on Finance Department operations. She said the GenGov committee approved a schedule for a second attempt by the consultant to recruit a county finance director and that staff are working on year-end filings and closing paperwork.
Hanan also reported that property tax bills have been processed and that many were already in the mail. The minutes record operational items but do not include details such as the recruitment timeline, target candidate profile, or the number of tax bills mailed.
Committee members did not take formal action on these items beyond receiving the report; they will continue to track recruitment progress and year-end closings.
