City Administrative Officer Reneé Major handed out a revised page of a proposed franchise agreement with Lumos Fiber of Kentucky, LLC and City Attorney Richard Edwards said the revised copy should include a provision requiring compliance with Louisville Metro and Anchorage ordinances.
Councilmember Diane Cook moved for a resolution authorizing Mayor Neil Ramsey to sign the Lumos franchise agreement; Matt Delehanty seconded and the motion passed unanimously. Edwards said additional steps remain to finalize the franchise, and the council's action authorized the mayor to execute the agreement once those steps are complete.
