Council approves $15,338 replacement for Public Works radio repeater system

Public Works Director Gary Burkhead told the council the current Public Works radio repeater system can no longer be serviced by the vendor RCS Communications because parts are unavailable. Burkhead presented a replacement estimate of $15,338 to replace the system. Hunter Wilson moved to approve the $15,338 purchase; Matt Delehanty seconded and the council voted unanimously to approve the expense.
The purchase is intended to restore maintainable radio communications capability for Public Works operations.
