The presenter said the local indicators complement the LCAP and will be uploaded to the school dashboard; "nearly 90% of our students feel safe in our schools," the presenter said.
Staff walked through the five state priorities: basic conditions of learning (100% of schools in good repair and no misassigned credentialed teachers), implementation of academic standards across multiple subjects, parent and family engagement (more than 50 community meetings added districtwide), school climate metrics, and access to a broad course of study (92% A-G completion in 2024-25; 73% A-G completion for students with disabilities compared with a 21% state average). Trustees asked clarifying questions about whether the safety question discriminates physical vs. psychological safety; staff replied the survey question is broad: "Do you feel safe at school?"
