Council appoints review committee and designates bid recipient for city feasibility-study RFP

Council Member Michael Jensen moved that the review committee consist of Jensen, Council Member Terry George and Mayor Mick Sudbury, and that Jay Springer serve as the bid-recipient and question-response contact. Council Member Steve Prokopis seconded; the motion passed 4-0 with Council Member Audrey Pierce absent.
The council also moved to designate City Manager Kelly Bush as the purchasing agent authorized to approve payment for the study; that motion passed 4-0. Council members discussed conflicts, review processes and expectations for committee duties during the RFP phase.
