"So not only are we growing, the needs of our students are growing as well," Parker said, noting the district must expand supports and staffing to meet those needs. He linked the demographic shifts to planning for special education services, language support, and classroom resources.
Parker said the district will use these trend lines when forecasting staffing, special program needs and budgeting for services that go beyond basic classroom instruction.
