District projects school capacity pressures; high school likely next building need

"That green line is a statistical model that represents moderate growth...we feel like our growth is probably going to be somewhere between the orange and the green," Parker said, adding that under those models the district’s facilities could reach capacity and that the high school is likely the next building the district will need to add. Parker framed the timing as roughly the late 2020s to the mid-2030s rather than a single calendar year.
District materials shown in the presentation display cohort tracking from 2018 through 2025 and a high-projection band; administrators said those cohort and projection figures will guide future capital planning and the timing of any bond or referendum requests.
