On Feb. 17 the Dorset Select Board voted unanimously to adopt the Town Road & Bridge Standards for 2026 and to approve the annual highway mileage certificate and financial plan for 2026.
Henry Chandler moved and Frank Parent seconded approval of the Road & Bridge Standards; Jim Salsgiver moved and Frank Parent seconded approval of the mileage certificate. Both motions passed 4-0. Board discussion noted that state paving schedules are uncertain and that the town is coordinating 2026 road projects and standards.
