At the May 12 meeting the Planning Board recorded unanimous votes (5–0 with two members absent) on the following actions: re-adoption of the prior SEQR Negative Declaration; re-approval of the Hemion Land Lease site plan for 5 Hemion Road (16,352 sq ft medical office); a parking waiver reducing required spaces from 81 to 63; a waiver reducing minimum under-building stall length from 19 to 18 feet; and overrides of Rockland County Planning comments #5 and #13. The Board also approved the April 14, 2026 meeting minutes and adjourned at 8:40 p.m.
Votes were recorded as YEA for Chairman Anthony Caridi, Stan Shipley, Marlo Dickman, Joan Materna and Nancy Doon. Several motions cited specific movers and seconders in the record, including Member Materna (mover) and Member Doon (seconder) to open the Hemion public hearing, and Member Dickman (mover) and Member Materna (seconder) on one of the waivers.
