Residents press shelter options and a neighbor property dispute during public comment

Martin Cleary said he spoke with the Humane Society on Courses Landing Road and argued the Township should send animals there; Clerk Proffitt replied, "we tried to take our animals there in the past and they will not take our animals because they are too small for the number of animals we would provide." Cleary also asked the Committee to resolve a neighbor's ongoing parking use of a property off Johnson St.; Mayor Brown said the Township hired Sickels to survey the property and Solicitor Telsey is reviewing the dispute.
The Committee moved into executive session on a procedural motion; no public action resolving the neighbor dispute was reported in open session.
