Carneys Point awards 2024 road maintenance contract, plans work on School House and West Quillytown roads

Carneys Point Township voted unanimously Sept. 18 to award the 2024 Road Maintenance Program contract to South State, Inc., following an engineer recommendation that included School House Road and West Quillytown. Engineer Stephen Cosaboon presented field work results and the recommended scope. "Included in this agenda to discuss is the recommendation for the 2024 Road Maintenance Projects which includes, School House Rd. and West Quillytown," he said.
Cosaboon also reported that field survey work is complete for township-owned property at Block 45, Lot 5 and that Recreation Complex Phase II is scheduled to start the first week of October with completion expected by the end of the year. The committee approved the contract award by motion of Mr. Pelura, seconded by Mr. Bomba, and took a unanimous vote.
