Recreation Complex Phase II set to begin in October, engineer says

The Carneys Point Township Committee was told that work on Recreation Complex Phase II is scheduled to start in October, with construction of the site pavilion to follow, Engineer J. Biegen said at the Sept. 4 meeting.
Biegen also reported that lighting upgrades at Dunns Park are finishing and will be submitted to the State, and that bids for Central Schoolhouse Lane and Quillytown Road were received with a recommendation to be presented at the next meeting. "Recreation Complex Phase II will start in October, the pavilion will be later," Biegen said.
The updates came during the engineer's departmental report, which the committee approved unanimously. The committee also heard that the NJ Municipal Aid project work is ongoing and that additional recommendations will appear on future agendas.
