The facilities and finance subcommittee reported it had reviewed bids and recommended the contracts to the board to keep summer projects on schedule. "We have quite a bit of consent agenda items... based on the summer projects that were previewed and reviewed at facilities and finance subcommittee, they provided their recommendation to bring this forward," a trustee said while presenting the contracts.
Trustees noted the chosen bids were substantially lower than earlier higher estimates and moved to approve both contracts. Votes were recorded in the affirmative and projects will move to procurement and scheduling for work over the summer.
