City Clerk Jessica read Ordinance 2839 by title, "An ordinance of the city of Enumclaw, King County, Washington relating to the use and operation of electric motorcycles," as the second reading. Police Commander Tony Ryan provided the staff report; committee members said they had no substantive objections but asked that training be publicized if required.
A council member moved to approve the ordinance; the motion was seconded and approved on voice vote. The ordinance adds a new chapter to city code addressing electric motorcycle operation and establishes an effective date and severability.
