Sevier County Beer Board Secretary Kelsey Waters told the board that a sheriff’s undercover operation found at least one sale of alcohol to a person under 21 and that Jimmy’s Market #12 (Floyd’s Market), 12221 Chapman Hwy, was cited. The arraignment for the citation was scheduled for Feb. 19, 2025 at 1:00 PM.
Attorney Jerry McCarter advised the board that, if the permit holder is found guilty, the permit could be suspended or revoked and fines could apply; he noted the incident is a second offense under the current ownership. The board did not take enforcement action at the Feb. 10 meeting.
