Franklin’s youth advisory council members describe civic experience and scholarship wins

"This was really such an incredible experience," Bailey said.
Organizers said council members offer input on city topics and that the program is recruiting rising high‑school freshmen through seniors for the coming year. Bailey told the audience she received a HAZLM scholarship to the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and said the council gave her a foundation for opportunities such as radio interviews and participation on the football field at UT.
