Rio School District approves consent agenda including MOUs, instructional contracts and services

On Oct. 15 the board approved a broad consent agenda that ratified MOUs with the City of Oxnard and several service providers, authorized contracts for instructional materials and printer services, and updated committee memberships; the motion passed 4-0.
The Rio School District Board approved its consent agenda on Oct. 15, covering routine but substantive business including minutes, warrants and multiple agreements.
Items approved included a Memorandum of Understanding with the City of Oxnard for Garden Education Services; MOUs with Tammira Inc. and Daybreak Counseling Services; a 2025/26 contract with Edtheory, LLC; ratification of an Amplify agreement; and a new Konica Minolta agreement for printer services in Human Resources and the superintendent's office. The board also approved the VCOE Inter-District Agreement for migrant education services and updated membership of the Citizens Oversight Committee.
The consent motion was made by Felix Eisenhauer and seconded by Alesia Martin; the record shows the motion carried with Kristine Anderson, Felix Eisenhauer, Alesia Martin and Emmanuel Mejia voting yes. Several routine items concerning minutes, personnel reports and donation records were also ratified as part of the package.
