Comal County reports turnout of 104,444; Trump ticket received majority of county votes

Comal County staff told the Commissioners Court that 104,444 ballots were cast in the county in 2024, up from 89,216 reported in 2020. "We have grown, haven't we?" Miss Jaquay observed during the Nov. 19 special meeting.
The court record shows county‑level presidential totals: "Donald J. Trump and J. D. Vance received 74,756 votes," while "Kamala Harris and Tim Walz received 27,680 votes," according to the canvass presentation. County staff presented those and minor‑candidate totals as part of the official canvass packet the court approved.
The meeting contained no public comment and commissioners approved the canvass by voice vote following the reading of totals.
