The presenting staff member said the change was intended to stabilize the Humane Society’s finances and allow predictable budgeting: "This proposed agreement, goes to a monthly, equal monthly payment to the humane society... It's $28,875 a month," the presenter said. Commissioner Webb thanked staff and outside partners for their work and noted the county may revisit the arrangement in the future as needs and costs change. The court approved the interlocal agreement by voice vote.
