In the same meeting the board approved a proposal to transition day-to-day operational oversight of the county drug task force to a sheriff's office lieutenant to "restructure, improving operation efficiency, and resource allocation," and authorized the sheriff's office to post and fill the lieutenant position.
Both items were moved by the finance chair and carried by voice votes with no additional discussion recorded.
