Sanilac County honors Wendy Willing for more than 30 years of service

The Sanilac County Board of Commissioners adopted a resolution recognizing Wendy Willing for more than three decades of public service during its Nov. 19 meeting.
Commissioner Roger Ballard read the resolution, which traces Willing’s county career from her start as a juvenile court caseworker on May 2, 1994, through promotions to deputy administrator and interim county administrator and later roles incorporating equalization duties. The resolution states, in part, "Wendy Willing is retiring from Sanilac County with over 30 years of dedicated service," and the board adopted the measure by voice vote.
Commissioners and colleagues praised Willing’s institutional knowledge and invited her to a photo after the adoption. The resolution will be spread upon the proceedings and presented to Willing as part of the board’s recognition.
