Todd Hillman was appointed to the Central Dispatch Advisory Board for a two-year term expiring Dec. 31, 2026; the motion was presented by Commissioner Lee and supported by Commissioner Heberling. The chair announced each appointment after the voice votes.
Other appointments approved by voice vote included Bill Gray to the Drug Task Force for a two-year term (expiring Dec. 31, 2026), David MacArthur to the Land Bank Authority Board for a three-year term (expiring Dec. 31, 2027), and Anne Soule to the Safe Partnership Millage Board for a four-year term (expiring Dec. 31, 2028). The meeting record shows no opposition recorded to these motions.
"Todd, you are appointed," the chair said after the vote, and the board moved on to the next agenda item. The interviews that preceded the appointments included brief remarks from Todd Hillman about continuing emergency-management support and from Bill Gray, who requested reappointment and noted incoming leadership changes at the task force.
