Concession stand brought up to code with new water line and sinks; fryer limits remain
Summary
Staff reported a new 450-foot water line and five sinks installed in the Goodwin concession stand, and that a fire-suppression system and hood limit grill size to 48 inches, preventing a fryer without further equipment changes.

Rob (speaker S2) reported progress on the Goodwin concession stand: a new 450-foot water line was installed to bring the stand up to code, five sinks have been added and plumbing work is nearly complete. Rob said the concession area includes a fire-suppression system and that the existing hood limits the grill to the size previously installed.
Committee members discussed equipment limits and compliance. One member noted that adding a fryer would require a different suppression system and a larger hood; Rob said replacing the hood and suppression equipment would be a larger expense than the committee has planned. "It can only be the grill... it can only be the grill," Rob said when explaining the current configuration and restrictions.
The committee agreed to proceed with the current concession upgrades and to confirm remaining finish work; staff will continue to coordinate with HY A (the vendor/partner referenced) about any equipment changes and to report progress at future meetings.
